I live in Leesburg and won't go to D.C. prime. It's a blah steakhouse in an office park next to 7, of course it sucks. Can't believe y'all DROVE OUT for it lol

Nobu on M. I wanted to love it, but after over $100 later, I was starving and the food there was ...wasn't that great. bummer

Agree completely about Fiola Mare. What a letdown.
Rasika was also disappointing. It's...perfectly fine, but nothing exciting.

The Dabney. Food was ordinary and bland. Like I could have made it at home myself. Did not understand the hype at all.

Totally agree. Flavors seemed random and didn’t come together at all.

My last meal there was a snoozer. Prior ones had been better. Disappointing.

BTDT, don't need to go back.

+1

+2. But...I love Le Diplomate.

Bland (except for overly salty falafel), non-authentic and really just underwhelming. Mediocre ambiance and service.

OMG yes. My husband is always recommending it to visitors because he can walk there for lunch. I always glare at him and mouth “stop. Just stop.” It’s only good if you are visiting from Ohio and think it’s exotic.

Omg. The Cleveland food scene blows DC's out of the water.

To the Bad Saint commenters what's the problem other than the queuing? I've been dying to try this place out.

I just didn't love the food - I'm vegetarian though, so my choices were limited. It looked like the meat options were much better. We did the "wine flight" and that was a bit pathetic - one of the wines was actually a beer, served in a tiny wine-tasting sized portion. All of that with the overhype caused by the queue made it feel really not worth it to me.

Mola in Adams-Morgan. Tom Tsietsema gave it a great review, but bleah. Tiny portions of just-ok food. And expensive.

NP I have no with the line. Only the quality/flavor and portion size in relation to price.

Same. Enjoyed my drink at the bar but didn't love the food, especially for the price.

Also Bourbon Steak in the 4 Seasons... $375 for 2 of us and the menu was so small, poor appetizer choices: seafood, to which I am allergic, and iceberg wedge, which I hate, or a pasta with beef to start. No other salad options beside the wedge. And who wants short rib pasta for an appetizer when having steak for dinner? The fries they brought out as an Amuse Bouche were delicious, but why would I eat fries BEFORE my meal?
