I love assigned seating and don't have a problem telling someone they are in the wrong seat. And yes, I care. There are certain places in the theater I don't want to sit.

I'm surprised that some people wouldn't say or try to do anything. If you can't manage something as easy as this, how do you manage to stand up for yourself in other aspects of your life?

The whole point of assigned seating is so you don't have to arrive early. People just need to get their acts together and sit in their proper assigned seats, or they will be asked to move.

Really hoping you’re just joking.

If the place is packed then say "Oh, I think this is my seat, but maybe I'm confused - what does your ticket say?"

I only go to reserved seating theaters. They're awesome when wanting to watch highly anticipated movies, like Black Panther, where every showtime was freaking packed. We already got our Infinity War tix...assigned seating is the shiz.

You just politely let the person know they're in your seat. I only prefer sitting in the back rows and have the have the very last aisle seat on left or right. No way am I going to act like a pansy and let others take our seats.

I love assigned seating. Much better experience. I love being able to choose my seat and not have to arrive crazy early before the movie.

Definitely confront someone who is sitting in your seats. You don't have to be rude - just ask them to confirm their seats. Sometimes it's hard to tell what row you are in. Be gracious. Don't ever just sit someplace else. That's asking for more problems when someone else finds you sitting in their seats.

If you go to the movies before noon, the ticket is $7. If I take all the kids, we definitely go before noon.

Why not just sit in their lap?
