With an old top loader maybe? Mine take roughly the same time, about 45 minutes, but the washer is a front loader. After the wicked spin cycle the clothes aren't all that wet. Definitely never have to wait for the dryer

I was just telling my H we need an extra dryer - we do 10 loads/week.
