If I understand this correctly, OP is moderately conservative, strongly anti-church, strongly pro-life, and open to some sort of gun control.....and looking for a woman who thinks the same. My question is why does she have to match all of these boxes?

I find it "normal" for women to be liberal, in seeking protection from the daddy-state (think Life of Julia -- ugh), as it is normal for men to be conservative. (Can you imagine being a woman and dating a liberal man? -- exactly.)

That does make it tougher. Agree that you should make sure you have something in your online dating profile like moderately conservative so people know up front. Usually there are profile questions about religion so it’s important to figure out if you are comfortable with your girlfriend being Church going or not. Looking down the road, you may need to be comfortable with any children being raised in that religion and your role being anywhere from supportive to converting.
Although this area is somewhat liberal, even in MD you find lots of conservative areas and definitely in VA. Also, you have transplants from lots of places, I’m especially thinking certain areas of Pennsylvania, that would likely align with your values.
