That would make sense
Then no Principal just like Chesterbrook.
The interim principal at Chesterbrook started out as a teacher at Chesterbrook and used to be the principal at Carson MS. I'd say he's probably up to the task.
The trouble is that they can’t find a replacement. He was only supposed to be able to stay there until December. I dont know how they got around the retirement requirements, but it appears that they did. He is an interim. They have had a year to fill the spot. No one is coming forward to take it. That is the problem.

Plenty of parents and teachers have been less than thrilled with this guy and this will only make things worse. By pushing him out, would that be a FCPS board issue?
Haycock going down hill with this new principal and the teachers leaving.
Definitely not the "powerhouse" it once was 20 years ago. Many AAP eligible students staying at Chesterbrook and F Sherman base schools for it's own LL4 programs.
Anonymous wrote:A little concerning to hear as a future Haycock parent... how were the parents informed of this change? Was there any opportunity for feedback?? It seems such a significant change should/would not be made unilaterally. Is this Principal receptive to parents and feedback? How was this communicated?
