A school board member.
He also sent out information basically telling students it's ok to protest. He failed to provide any further guidance on how that might be responsibly done, IMO. Maybe the student is pointing out that he acted in accordance with was McElveen sent out? Maybe pointing that out to get the suspension revoke would have been a better idea than threatening others and possibly ending up in jail rather than just suspended? SMH.
You have every right to HATE Ryan but this has nothing to do with him. DONT BLAME RYAN

I'm pretty sure that all of the schools are on heightened alert. Not just Fairfax HS.
Although there may not be such an obvious presence of SWAT team/media at the other schools.
Not really. I'm at South County and we only have one officer here as usual. It's just another regular day.

It is important to inform the public. But also a fine line between informing and giving this individual too much attention.
I hope all Fcps schools have heightened security today.... sadly a reminder that we need to be hyper vigilant at all times.
It is particularly sad that children need to be worried about this.
Please don’t take this politically —- but when it comes to our children’s safety —- I hope we are all part of the same village and watching out for each other - the child we know and don’t know.
