Not sure I would consider this "friends with a seriously famous person" per OP's title.

Justin went to Lafayette and the Field School, and Jon went to Sidwell.
Or Jared Leto- He went to Longfellow
Or Sandra Bullock - Washington and Lee HS
The Leto brothers used to hang out at Tracks in the 90s.

Do you think he killed Nicole Brown Simpson?
OMG I'm a jerk. I laughed way too hard at that.

However one of his best "work friends" is an uber famous player. They met at a camo in middle school and are like brothers at this point. My husband also looks.way "more famous" when hanging out with him because it's like "o look another 6 ft 7 black guy is next to Kyrie so he's prob in the NBA too, ooo yea, that's xyz from abc." I don't envy there fame. I use to envy his deals and money but it's fine now because DH is 34 and still playing; I can't be more greedy than that.
Do you read the gossip from all the birds and sidepieces on Lipstick Alley and Baller Alert?
If so, can you tell me what's true?![]()

HAHAHA! When I was younger OF COURSE! Now I'm basically a grandma in that circle and no know one cool anymore. But its normally at least 60 percent true. One thing that is true (and I'm ashamed that I played part in it) is wives are mean to "girlfriends." I got swept up into that culture and I regret it. My piece of paper makes me no better! Ive grown in the last decade, thankfully!
*** know no one cool **** sorry, phone!
So wives are generally expected to look the other way at whatever is going down?
Not to totally jump this thread but this attitude is something I really take offense too. Yes, there are a bunch of crazy horny non committed 20 year olds in the NBA. There are also many family oriented men who value their family and their wife. I can say with confidence my husband hasn't cheated. He also isn't super famous and has to work really hard to stay in the league so Im sure that makes a difference too. He can't party all night and show up on game day and get paid millions. He's gotta train constantly to hopefully make another 1-year contract of about a million. (not complaining, just explaining the difference) My point is the stereotype on WAGS and all that is one part of the industry. There are other types that make up the league.
