I like the naturium vitamin c

I bought Paula’s Choice on Amazon. I am fair-skinned. I used it twice and my face is tinted orange. Fortunately, Amazon will take it back.

Another lower cost option is Paula's Choice C Booster.

Retinol actually resurfaces your skin with new cell generation. Most products just get to the top layer of skin and don't have lasting impactful results. However, topical Vitamin C is an exception, and it does improve radiance and works to physically combat free radicals that are directly linked to signs of aging, it also reverses sun damage. When used with sunblock and part of a good regimen, this is actually very effective. It is better to invest in a good serum (retinol), exfoliant (chemical like AHA/BHA/LA, or physical like microdermabrasion) and treatment (Vitamin C), with any old moisturizer than it is to throw a bunch of money at a line of creams. If you're going for deeply impactful products. The other things are really like icing on a cake.

I used Skinceuticals and it works really well, but it is expensive. Mario Badescu has a reasonably priced alternative that is very effective. It's a bit tackier in application, but it works well.

For those of you that use the Timeless serum- thanks for the recommendation! I got my first bottle but the consistency is very different than the Drunk Elephant, which I have also used. The Timeless one seems much more watery- is that normal?

Sephora carries Ole Henrikson (spelling?) vitamin c boost. They have 2 diff sizes and sometimes a really small sample size which lasts me a really long time. I pair it with some of my Paula’s choice products but think it works well

This brand is frequently sold at marshals and TJ max X, for a fraction of the Sephora cost.

I have a friend who keeps hers in the fridge and transfers it into a tiny opaque bottle for daily use.

My sample size of DE was very light orange. I didn’t like the consistency so didn’t buy the full size. I also tried a sample size of the Skinceuticals and like it a lot, but I’m too cheap to pay for a full bottle.

I’ve tried about 6 different brands (including powders) and haven’t settled on any that I love and can afford. This one is next on my list:

I'm the PP you're referring to and mine definitely has a *slight* translucent orange tint. But when it oxidizes it turns very dark orange.
