I would be pretty mad, and I would let them know.
I almost had a surgery rescheduled at the last minute last summer, and I was very clear that we had a complex set of childcare arrangements, including already purchased flights, and I didn't care which surgeon at the practice did the procedure, but that it was very important it happen in a certain time frame.
They fixed it.

Life is going to be a whole lot longer than you'd like if you can't adapt and overcome.
FOR REAL! It's Wisdom teeth, not your spleen. Geez Christmas. I have had 2 pulled, it's not major surgery, most people don't even get gas. What makes your surgery so special, are your wisdom teeth in your ass or something?
LOL
Although it's not the same if they are impacted teeth (lots of peoples are), then it is a surgery--though a not too bad out patient one.
But yeah, stuff happens to doctors too. I wouldn't want a not 100% because they are unwell person working on my teeth--you know how many nerve endings there are in the area? You can have major complications from screwed up dental work.

Anonymous wrote:I am so angry. I requested off work and my parents are supposed to fly in from Chicago to take care of my 2 and 3-year-old so I can recover. I get a call this morning saying something has come up and they need to reschedule. I chose this doctor because he does Saturday appointments once a month. I am getting my wisdom teeth removed because I am starting orthodontic treatment soon. This is pushes everything back and it's very frustrating.

NP. That’s great for you, but anesthesia has a very powerful effect on me and I slept for 20 hours out of the first 24 after my wisdom teeth were removed. Everyone doesn’t have the same experience.
Where is the father?
Since OP thinks it’s pertinent to ask personal questions and know all about someone’s personal life.
OP, is there no Dad? No husband?
OP here: You need to STFU.

OMG I'm a dentist and I'm laughing. I would love to see that!
