My bloodhound crosses his paws when he lays down on his belly. Elegant and regal. He also can't produce traditional doggy bark sound. The best that he can do is ''howwww-howww" ))

When my min poodle wakes up after a long nap he rolls on his back, brings his knees to his stomach and crosses his feet, just like human baby's do while making cute baby like sounds.

My two dogs love to go out and fetch the ball, but the younger dog always yields to the older dog. Every now and then, the older dog will step back and nudge the ball to younger dog, and let her have it. So adorable and sweet.

We nicknamed the younger dog "Dug" from the movie Up because she makes everyone she meets feel as though they are her best friend. Friends fight over who gets to take her when we go out of town because they are convinced she loves them best!

She will lay with the girls for a while after we leave their room, and then when she's decided they're settled enough, she hops down and comes to hang out with us.

Anyone else notice that their dog's shadow seems to bounce more than your actual dog? Our large dog seems to walk along smoothly enough during walks, but whenever I see his shadow, it looks like he's trotting and bouncing up and down in a really jolly way. Always makes me smile.

Also, very occasionally during walks, halfway through he'll turn and look at me and touch his nose to me, without breaking his stride. No idea why he does this sometimes. Happens with husband too.


Sorry everyone, i have the best dogs.

But, one of them is especially sweet, with these very responsive, sweet ears. They stand up and out, almost like she's ready to take flight, when she is excited or overly attentive. I took a pic one time and my friend commented on it as "Dobby is a freeee elf." LOL. That's what it reminds me of now everytime she does it. She's our "sunshine dog" but she wakes up happy, is happy all day, and goes to bed happy. We should all be so lucky.

Once my small kids are in bed my dog coos and growls at me until I sit down on the couch and cuddle up with her. She says it's my time now!
