I will not vote for Hogan, so I hope the Dems come up with a great candidate!

You're ok with his lack of school funding?

His father was one of the first Rs to speak out against Nixon but he has been largely silent in the face of Trump.

+1 He also refused to speak out against the Trump Muslim ban and has that autocratic school calendar policy that many parents hate. If there is a decent alternative, I’m happy to vote Democrat.

And the cuts to NIH funding and Chesapeake protections. Those directly affected Maryland and it’s residents and he was silent. The cuts to education and his idiotic executive order are also appalling. I will vote for the D unless s/he seems incompetent.

Voted for Hillary but will be voting for Hogan.

And to the PP, ‘cancer ridden fat ass’? You are everything the general population detests about the liberal elite left.

No way in hell did you vote for Hillary, but nice try

You do live in a weird little political bubble of yours?

Plenty of Hillary voters will also be voting for Hogan. How do I know? Because I'm one of them. And know plenty of others.

+1 There's a lot of pissed off blue staters who are looking for ways to #resist. Even if Hogan is relatively popular, he should be worried.

However, I disagree with a lot of his positions specifically with transportation and less investment in Baltimore which could really use a boost right now. He canceled the red line which would have been a boom for the city in terms of jobs and attracting development especially after it had funding from the feds. Not only that but he cut back on the purple line and directed funds towards the rural areas of the state.

He hasn't stood up to Trump. He refused to speak out against the Muslim ban and even deleted posts off his facebook site from people who criticized him. What good is a Republican governor? Taxes are high anyway, and none of his rural highway projects benefit me.

If he campaigns on ending the rain tax he's in.
