I don't think it's anything other than exactly what she says it is - a freak accident. And if it happened on those moss covered stairs...it wasn't even that freakish. She slipped at the top and fell slicing the side of her face against the rustic railing and she fell on top of her hand smashing it into the stone and breaking it.

I knew of a man who got a brain injury slipping on his front door step and smashing his skull against the concrete.

I think that the facial stitches happened separately from the fall and she is trying to use the fall to cover up the real reason for the stitches. Plastic surgery gone wrong? Abuse? I don't know. But something is weird here.

The article says that the "fan" has her own t.v. show so it sounds as though this was some sort of celebrity studio gym...not just an average work out place with random people in it. The picture was probably put out there as a publicity thing to assure her fan club members that she's o.k.

If she's having plastic surgery to minimize the scar, I think that normally takes a couple of stages/surgery/treatments before they get optimal results.

I’m just amazed at how ugly and commonplace the house is. Nothing special, certainly not “storybook”.

I think the cabin has a certain charm. I love that there is an original historic portion dating back to the 1800's. I'll bet it's gorgeous there when the leaves are changing. I can't imagine trying to deal with a small child in that place though.

Unless she has a HUGE slash across her face on the side we cannot see where does she have 50 stitches?

That's not her full-time home though. It's just their cabin in the woods.

It isn't clear on where the accident happened. She could have been at her cabin. Mid November would have been a pretty time to be there. Maybe there was a thin layer of ice on the steps?
