We spent time in Paris recently and were very surprised by home much we liked it. My wife was very hesitant to go to Japan with me, but now that she has been, she really likes going back when the opportunity comes up now and then.

Im very lucky not to have to economize, but even i am not so out of touch. A family of 5 can rent a small beach house for $2500/wk. This house will have a kitchen and free access to the beach. THIS IS WHAT NORMAL AMERICAN FAMILIES CAN AFFORD YOU DINGUS.

No family of 5 is taking a week vacation in ANY part of Europe for $3000. Nope nope nope. Get your head out of your ass you sleazeball.

Very little interest in Europe. I love raw adventure. Ive been to africa 2xs and love love it there. I love the people, the chaos, the wild, the color, everything about Africa is so opposite my life and i love every second of the wild and crazy adventure. Yes, Africa is a continent, not a country, but there is a common thread amd that is what sucks me in.

I also have a huge itch to visit Peru, Bolivia, nicaragua, and Colombia.

No desire to go to Iceland.

Alaska was my least favorite destination.

For people who mention countries like Italy or Mexico, are you thinking of the cities? These are large countries with a lot of variety. I also have not much interest in Rome or Florence, but rent a villa in rural Tuscany and spend the days wandering the small towns, and I'm in heaven. Same with Mexico, I have no interest in the border cities or large resort towns, but a small coastal village can be amazing.

For me: no interest in large cruise ships. Small cruises, maybe, especially to places like Glacier Bay or Galapagos that are otherwise not very accessible. But a week on a giant ship the size of a city? No thanks.

Sea Island. Seems like a snoozer and i don't understand why it gets recommended so often here.

Iceland is also nowhere on my bucket list. Seems like I can get more bang for my buck and better experiences in Alaska.

I was pleasantly surprised by Las Vegas. Went there for work with no expectations, and couldn't wait to go back! The strip is fun to walk or drive down at some point during your trip, but for me the best part was staying out in Summerlin and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and red rocks, and visiting the Hoover Dam. There is something therapeutic to me about the void of the desert. It clears my mind. I love the southwestern US, including the Grand Canyon.

Huh. To each her own, but I loved Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia.

Russia
Australia

If someone offered me a free trip, of course I would go, but none of these places are on my list.

Lakes and woods and mountains, please

Alaska. I wouldn’t turn down an all expenses paid trip of course but I just have dozens of other places I’d rather go before going to Alaska. I am also not that interested in Southeast Asia. I have been to Korea and Japan and liked them but I have no interest in Thailand, Vietnam, Bali etc.

I’m not that interested in Hawaii but I’ll remain open minded...it might land on my bucket list someday. The reason is the distance compared to the distance to the Caribbean and Europe. I changed my mind about Cuba. I’ve travelled there twice but won’t go back - not because I didn’t love it (I really did), but because I hate the idea of supporting communism.

We stayed at the Aria. I'd definitely stay there again. I'm trying to get friends together to go for a girls trip, actually. I'm surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did.
