OP, you don't have to be a mistress to see a man once or twice a week and to sleep along most of the nights. My BF and I are both single, both child-free and we date for over 17 years now. We are very involved in each other lives, but we don't live together since both of us have huge requirements for a personal space.
BF-GF relationship is much more stable than mistress-married man arrangement, which can take a wrong turn at any point of time and you lose a man whom you are emotionally attached to due to complications with his marriage - wife finds out about your relationship, for example.

Nice. When I was 38 and a mother of 4 I had an affair with a hot looking 25-year-old. The sex was disappointing. I would up with a man 6 years older than me and the sex was amazing. Hot sex does not require a young partner.

Yeah, no it’s not. Getting herpes/AIDS/gonnorrhea/HPV etc is actually a serious matter. Sure, there condoms are widely available but still these issues persist, as do unplanned pregnancies.

I was a mistress from age 47 to almost 52. These 30 year old guys can't imagine it; their loss. My AP was 6 years older.
