Usually new movies are released on Christmas Day. Not a Jewish thing. Unless you are a cultural Christian and attend mass or you are running around to visit relatives or cook, Xmas day is probably a lazy chill out day for you where you can go to the movies.

We had Chinese food on Christmas Eve because I didn't want to cook a big meal. We also have been going to the movies on Christmas Day for years. It's an American thing, not a Jewish thing.

Not to derail (any more) but can anyone recommend a good Chinese restaurant in Alexandria City. We loved one place but they changed owners, and the food is now horrible.
