I do not see what's wrong with my DS list. This is what he likes and will apply to. It's funny who envious people are in this forum...
It is hard to imagine what interest your son might have that he would be happy at MIT, TAMU, and Georgetown. It looks like a list by someone who only knows magazine rankings.
See that's the problem your imagination is very short. My son likes those schools because one very particular academic major and one very particular sport that non of the other school have. On top of that he is very well qualified to get in any of those school. Problem is people like you that talk and assume things without knowing anything.
Almost all applicants to top schools are well qualified and yet the vast majority don't get in. And why would anybody be envious of your list?

Whoever questioned Indiana, I've met a number of kids who have gone there. Not every kid is going to get into HYP, they have to go somewhere.
Yes because the next step down from HYP is Indiana... Maybe you meant to say that not everyone can get into top 30 or so, which is when indiana would become an attractive option.
