Crunch, Peanut m&m, Kit Kat and Twix

For me I usually take the chewy stuff and the twix

just taste tested the bag we got for trick or treaters tomorrow. A few seemed off so I ate a few more to probe further. We seem to be okay now.

Mine are too old for TOT but I would steal Reese's and Kit Kats if I could!

I have so little control around these that I have to wait until tomorrow to buy the candy.

Upon returning home from T or T, my kids must make "the donation" ....meaning, I get first pick of the candy I want. Typically it's the Cookies and Cream Hershey's or boring old Twix.

Thought I loved 100 grands, too, but pilfered one from my kid last year and was disappointed. Are they not the same as when we were kids?

My kid doesn't like Reese's, thank goodness, and he happily hands them over. I have been known to lift a few Kit Kats, and will stoop to eating plain M&Ms if necessary once the Reese's and Kit Kats are gone.

We don't have to take anything, DD is such a sweetheart she immediately asks DH and I what we want when she dumps her bag at home! My vice is 3 musketeers, and DH's is Reeces. Tootsie rolls are always good to snack on.

We call it the Mommy Tax (or Daddy Tax depending on who is doing the stealing)

Anything with peanut butter in it. Then the Kit Kats. Then anything chocolate. The oldest is in K, so he's only starting to notice. The 3 yr old loves Skittles, Twizzlers, Starbursts, and all that stuff. I try to steer her towards picking chocolate from the bowl, but no go. After a few days where they get to eat their favorites, all candy gets dumped into the communal bowl. The kids are good about sharing.
