Good luck OP. I think it's likely your endo or just maybe your anatomy. Did you do acupuncture or anything leading up to retrieval? I remember that on my first retrieval at SGFC, I had 22 eggs retrieved and was totally bouncing up and down after retrieval. Like as soon as the anesthesia wore off I was up and walking out with a smile on my face. The girl who went in after me, was in severe pain coming out of her retrieval. We both had the same doctor do the retrieval.

Stop looking for something to complain about. Sounds like you had a great number of eggs. The hard part begins now so get ready for a potential rollercoaster ride as you find out how many fertilized etc. I understand they no longer check eggs on day 3? If so this may help alleviate some of the stress from the daily phone calls. Best of luck and hope you get your take home baby out of this cycle.

OP mine was really bad as well. I'm the poster with endometriosis and I wonder if it has something to do with that. I do know that my RE accidentally prick at my endometrioma during retrieval which probably caused the pain as well.

They told me they did not touch cysts. I realize it could have been other tissue as well. However, I never ever had this in my previous cycles. It's been 8 hours now and I can honestly say that the pain meds are hardly working. I will try to soldier on.
