I think the only possible down side is that if you decide one of the number is the right guy that you may lose them when you come clean or may get caught after the fact. Most guys who are really interested in you are not really thinking that you are sleeping with other guys if you are sleeping with them, and if/when they find out they may decide you are not the right one for them. But as long as you are willing to risk that then I say the limit is how many you can juggle.

Have some fun, cut loose and then when you are ready to get back into the serious dating for a LTR cut back to one guy at a time.

Look it really depends what you are looking for. If its literally just sex with little effort, there are sex clubs. If it’s one night stands, you can find that. If it’s FWB or a go nowhere relationship, it’s also easy to find. All of these are options if you are really don’t won’t to get emotionally involved with anyone. But once you talk about going on dates, having a relationship with two or more people and sex being part of all those relationships, it can get real messy fast. What if you do realize as you get to know the person that this IS someone you want to date and now you have to hurt the other people that you cut loose and you risk hurting the person you want to date exclusively if the realize your strong feeling for hiim or her doesn’t stop you for still sleeping with 2 or more other people.

So at most, I would say two non-exclusive relationships that include sex and I see that as being more of an overlap than intentionally doing so, but that’s me.
