I hate to be annoyed over something like this, but this person was a never-has-been extra in a couple movies. If there was a 'major player' he would have dropped the name. He is just scamming for money and a conspiracy.
And the guy was already a convicted sex offender, so the "big reveal" is kind of like...ok...I feel like you were drawing that out for publicity, which is creepy.

I am sorry to say that I am beginning to think the same thing, only because he raises the spectre of a revelation and then retreats, even though he has strong support and encouragement to come forward at this point. But as he has already suffered so much, I will continue to give him the benefit of the doubt.
