I promise they do. When the saw found out their cousins were circumcised, they were horrified. They did thank us for not doing that to them.
I'm not vehemently against it, my DH is circumcised. But we didn't care that much either way so we didn't do it.

Yeah, but...Canada.

Canada has one year mat leaves and free Health care. We just don't spend a single much on military. We don't need to.....we get along with the world.
Canada is amazing. Did I mention going to the ER, doctor, surgery with no regard to any craziness like copays....

My son who is a Type 1 Diabetic wishes that I had had him circumcised, because he gets yeast infections. He's an adult, but he was diagnosed when he was 12. I could not have known that he would be diagnosed with diabetes, because we have none in our family history on either side.

Thanks; I've gone over all the stats and why we made that decision. I also told him that any girl who won't have sex with him because of that isn't worth his time, but of course at 17, his main mission in life since he's committed to a college is losing his virginity. I think it will also help when he goes away to college where he may not be one of the only young men not cut.

I have a teanage boy and I HIGHLY doubt he is discussing his contentment with his penis with you, his mom.

In fact, I am going to go out on a limb and say there is no way in hell your teenage boy has told you he is glad he is not circumcised.


I have 2 teenage boys, one circ'ed and one not. Neither of them has ever complained to me about how his penis looks.


Did they care that their penises were different from each others?

I had it done when I was 17. Even though it was medically necessary, I wanted it done anyway. And, yes, I had no problems talking to my mom about it.

There is no way anyone's teen boy is going around telling mom "I've been looking at my buddies' man parts and I am so happy that you did not circumcize me. I really think it looks and feels better. Thanks mom!"
