These feminists on here have convinced themselves that we care about their degree or salary![]()
Some men do. Little pigs they are, aren't they...
Who? And what does that even mean?

That you laugh and are proud to be a golddigger shows your maturity level. You clearly said you don't marry for love first but are eyeballing a man's bank account.
I fail to see the problem.
I live on earth. On this planet love doesn't pay the bills, buy groceries, keep a roof over one's head, or behind in nice clothes. Love does not entitle you to travel and fun experiences. If you find my lack of patience for poverty or struggle in my life to be immature, then I will keep on LOLing. You and your consorts are quite entertaining.
You are promoting fairy tales and upset because I'm dealing with reality. Yet your perception is that I lack maturity? How bizarre.
Wow pity you grew up with such low integrity and morale that you value others first on how much money they can give you. You must have had a really poor upbringing or had a fear of poverty and struggle at a young age to be in that position. Luckily I was not in that fear of poverty position and grew up with both money and love but more emphasis on love and affection that I valued more.
No, not promoting fairy tales. I guess I just do not see the world through a golddiggers eyes.
How does considering finances to be important equate with a lack of integrity?
A lack of integrity would be to be dishonest about my expectations, but I'm not. Men of value do not have a problem with the fact that I'm only interested in men of value. I'm a woman- "love and affection" (non-sexual) can be obtained from family and friends. Therefore a man making that the selling point, is not going to work for me. "Love and affection" as a selling point benefits men, not women. It is not currently acceptable for men to get love and affection from their friends, their fathers, etc. But it's fine for women to get it from their friends, their sisters, mom etc.
Play the hand that you were dealt, and play it well.
I did not grow up in poverty, but if I did that wouldn't have been my fault, would it? Do you enjoy feeling superior to poor children because you weren't one? It seems like you should be evaluating your own character moreso than mine.
Life is great for me and it will continue to be.![]()

The fertility thing shouldn't come up until the dating gets very serious, so there is no way that would be a factor. If she put it in her dating profile, I skip her -- not b/c of the barren issue but b/c anyone posting that in a dating profile is crazy.

So having her valued for her career/earning potential is not ok, but you have no issue with having her valued by whether or not she will be able to bare children? That's insane.

Why not? Women do. Women contribute to the household just as much as men do. Not all men want a woman who is uneducated and can't support themselves. Some men want a good catch.
Lol.
Men who care about a woman's salary are not a good catch themselves but whatever floats your boat.
I'm not attracted to weak men so that's laughable to me. I can contribute to my household by myself and live with much less stress than if I were to contribute to a household with a grown man who is worried about my financial statements. If my finances are a factor then you are a non-factor as a man.
This is my husband. All he cares about is how much I make and how much I can contribute to what he wants. He once told me a wife should not be a lead weight.

The one caveat is she has fertility issues which will make having biological children an unlikely possibility.
OP, you are really belittling a woman's value/worth down to her ability to make babies as if that is what a partner should only look for besides love/affection. Does that even exist anymore in DC between couples who place more value on how much money each makes?
You also mention her high salary and mention her age as if being 31 is a bad thing. Plenty of 20 somethings who make way way wayyyyyyy less than your 'friend' and have fertility issues/hormonal issues to boot and only a community college or high school diploma. You sound like a man to be honest. Are you trying to pimp out your friend to a guy eyeing money and only money?
Op here. I am a woman. I am not belittling anyone or making anything a bad thing. I was giving simple information which most posters would have asked her age and background.
You said quoting you, 'The one caveat is she has fertility issues which will make having biological children an unlikely possibility. ' and then that she makes 75k salary but will increase her salary to twice that amt in 2 yrs. Do you believe that guys today are hungrily eyeing a woman's salary and think they would go for the money and pick a high salary woman even if she can't have kids? So sexist. Caveat? seriously?
Op here. You must have trouble with reading comprehension. I said I was asking about my friend who thinks she is undateable because of her infertility issues. I do not agree with her perception, but I worded it that way to ask what men think. It would be the way she eouod word it if she were asking it because that is what she feels.
Uh huh I believe you lack writing ability otherwise you would have been clearer and said you opposed your friend's thinking. You did not mention you did not and many people thought you were your friend.
I said it in a follow-up post to pp asking if I was the " she" being referred to. Take your whiny feminism somewhere else.
