What does having 2 boys have to do with it? Did we return to the 50s??? Most people do 50/50 these days.

$9K (excluding rings but including honeymoon in Hawaii), 2009, and I felt like that was too much. Impressed by those who were smart enough to spend less!

1997. 180 people. Here in Northern Virginia. Dinner, open bar in nice hotel. $40k.

Whatever the fee was at the DC courthouse and dinner out after! We have such great memories of that night.

Wow, bet this was the typical 3-4 day affair and doesn't include the bling and clothes gifted. I had the privilege of attending such a wedding for a dear friend. What a great experience. I will always have wonderful memories. I met my husband of 5 yrs at the wedding.

About $75 for the license and officiant in the Arlington County courthouse. We tipped him $100 and went to brunch afterwards.

$15K in 2001. 85 people. Alexandria. My parents paid $10K and DH and I covered the rest.
