Subject: Why does SJP have such bad skin?
She very thin, and has obviously smoked and tanned. Considering that, she doesn't look bad at all for 58.

It's just what happens as you age. Even Nicole Kidman's skin looks more like this up close as recent pics. She just clearly had a lot more work to ward off what she could. Aging isn't easy when you are used to looking a certain way your whole life. Struggling with that doesn't make you a bad person, just a woman getting mixed messages from society.

Okay, I just read this thread and remembered an article from a really long time ago.

Maybe she was stressed, tired or even ill.

Dont think her skin looks bad. Think she has normal wrinkles around the eyes and forehead for her age/generation who didnt wear a lot of sunscreen earlier in life.

At least I know I will continue to have strong family and friendship bonds, which will go beyond my physical appearance. Those connections are more important to me than some superficial construct of beauty.
You could have had strong family and friendship bonds with sunscreen, too. Enough with the ridiculous opposition of beauty and happiness. There's tons of unhappy, mean and ugly people in the world.

Smoking and too thin. It's the only thing good about having some extra weight -- no wrinkles.
