You might be talking about silverfish - they tend to show up near water so bathrooms (in the tub, sink, etc) and they come up your pipes. Try pouring some bleach down your drains at night. They pretty hard to get rid of since like the damn cave crickets, they can survive for a while. I think that exterminators have better luck getting these guys than the crickets though....
