I voted for GWB twice back when I was still buying what the GOP was selling. Then I switched parties & voted for Obama twice. I've been solidly in the liberal camp for over a decade. So I'm quite comfortable with Northam, because he's like me! I appreciate his honesty. Do I regret my GWB votes? Absolutely. But they don't change who I am now.
