The NBC execs are parading her around like a circus act, she is supposed to be their golden child, but she is NO Diane Sawyer and she never will be.

The dress is... not good, but the shoes are what really pushed things over the top.

Pushed out of Fox? Is that what Fox's offer to raise her salary from $15 million to $20 million looks like to you?

the big deal is that she dressed like a prostitute to interview putin. why do that?
umm no. she was pushed out of fox where she was miserable because everyone hated her and is now in a big career limbo with few places to go to if this doesn't work out.

She should maybe have erred on toward what looks best for the interview instead of the dinner, but otherwise a gown is normal for women. She could have gone either/or on slit or décolletage but isn't this just the nature of women's formal wear?
this gown is not normal for a mid forties woman attending a state dinner (as opoosed to justin bieber party).
Oh, honeyYour "normal" is not everyone's normal.

Megan had the b*++%s to ask Putin direct questions about his role in the US elections! Way to go Megyn! And way to denigrate her OP, for something silly like dress sense!
Megyn chose to wear distracting party attire during a serious interview. She looked unprofessional and stupid when she was asking those serious and direct questions.
If Putin had shown up in his swimsuit, he would have looked stupid and undignified. See how that works?
NO, you are very naive. This is not how it works. The different rules apply to men and women. Women loves with their ears, so they don't care much how the men dressed. Men love with their eyes, so how the woman is dressed is very important.
different rules apply in different situations. in many situations very similar rules apply to men and women. she is doing a political interview, not speed dating at a bar.
Well, she is not playing by the rules, that is why she is where she is.
no, that's not why she is where she is. to the contrary, when she played by the rules, such as they were, she was climbing. now she is more in a stall.
But she is in a stall (as you call it) because this is where she wants to be. She perfectly knows the rules, and she knows how to play by the rules. This is how she climbed up. Now she is at the point of her life where she wants to do what she wants to do.
