This. Do not drink anything at all. Do not shave anything at all. Carry a family photo with you everywhere.

Then I came to the realization that I didn't really care about this coworker - I just liked having someone interested in me. I talked to DH about going out more together without the kids and doing more fun things together as a couple. DH agreed, and it really helped me to move past my ridiculous crush on this coworker.
This happened to me once after I had my third child in four years. I was feeling like a mom and not like a woman even though my DH was still very attracted to me. I was at a week long seminar and an older guy in my group made it clear he was interested in me and it felt very good. The last night we had a couple of drinks together and I let him kiss me. He then said "I want to give you pleasure". That dumb line snapped me out of my fog and I said a quick good night. I felt like such a fool risking my very good life and marriage. I told my DH what had happened and while he was angry he was more bothered that I hadn't told him that I was feeling like nothing more than a baby machine. For all the years since he's been very good about reminding me that I'm a woman!

Plenty more than people who fantasize about 60+ year old women which you will all be one day.

Anonymous wrote:ok, I agree that he is likely lying about his open marriage. My 60 year old DH and I DO have an open marriage but sleeping with someone who is married is a big no-no. Everyone involved and all partners of those involved must know the deal.
Also, my 60 year old DH is very very desireable.![]()

Oh, you can be so wrong. My DH is 63 and while there is snow on the roof there is a still raging fire in the furnace. Attitudes like the above are why so many people complain about their miserable sex lives once they get past 40. There is no doubt that many men 60+ are dead in bed for many reasons.

Anonymous wrote:OP here. I expected and invited the criticism. I needed the wake up call. For some people, monogamy is easy. For other people (like me), it can be a real struggle at times. It certainly doesn't mean that monogamy is not worth it. I worked hard to build my family and want to keep it intact, even though it's so hard sometimes and I want an escape. Thank you all for the responses, as I think they will keep me on the straight and narrow track. All feelings and fantasies aside, I think the end game is just not to get physical with him. My husband would understand feelings for someone else, but not crossing the line into a physical reality.
