Silverware...I pretty much never lose it, since I don't take it out of the house. So I still have the same set we got when we moved in to our first condo, and it works great. We also have a sterling set that we basically use for holidays.

In 10 years I have never needed a knife sharpened. With heavy use. I do hone the edge but...
Why would you need that much sharpening?
