Does this work both ways? If a women lies about being in birth control, is that stealthing?
I'm a woman and this was my first thought as well. PP who freaked out is odd.
The tumblr feministas don't like the fact that a male brings up a good point because of the patriarchy or whatever made up crap it is they believe.
The fact remains that it is a good question and does happen.
For the record, I agree it's assault. Taking your protection off is shitty thing to do.

Obviously, that doesn't help if he gives you HIV, or a chronic STD, but pregnancy is statistically the biggest danger.
For men, if a women tricks them, they can't do anything about it. They are trapped. Yeah, they can always wear a condom, but isn't that like telling a sexual assault victim that she "shouldn't have been drinking/dressed provocatively, etc."?
They're trapped with child support payments at the worst. Getting a woman pregnant who doesn't want to results in a physical hardship.
And if men don't want to take the risk of pregnancy, they should either use a condom or abstain, because BC can fail even if she promises she is taking it. It doesn't prove that she's taking it every day at the same time or regularly.
I do not think that babies are punishments, but every time you have sex you take on the risk that it may end up in a pregnancy. However, it doesn't have to end in an STD

Actually I think it's much worse. Antibiotics or Valtrex can fix most anything you'd pick up. I think it's a much more heinous (and expensive, and life changing) act to saddle someone with an unplanned/unwanted child for the rest of their life.
