That said, just to let everyone know, the Walter Reed expansion was granted to "allow for more access to lamb Pcs due to the unique nature of its program".

So when they go before the charter board, I'll be more than happy to oppose any expansion based on this previous ruling.

That quote was about creating more total seats -- adding the school's total capacity. It isn't about location.

Besides, who says they are expanding? The rumors are about a consolidation -- 3 campuses to 1. That has a lot of benefits -- program cohesion, economies of scale for things like custodial services, insurance, utility costs, potentially space for a library and other needed amenities.

They would have to get any new location approved - and the only questions ever asked are whether they engaged the neighbors around the new building, and how much notice they gave their families. School moves have been approved when families have been given just a few weeks of notice. So it's doubtful that the PCSB will be moved despite your angry testimony.

We all carpooled and made it work.

LAMB has always leased in Ward 5 and owned in Ward 4. That should have told you all you needed to know.

Lamb told us they would stay at South Dakota for several years. You may be fine with them lying, but I am not.

Furthermore the military road campus has always been too small. Only an idiot would think that was a permanent location.

Honestly, It is too far away from the bulk of students in DC. It is not going to happen. Ever.

This poster sounds really difficult. As a new family, I really hope most LAMB parents are not like you. If the new location was at Walter Reed or near it, would you be this unhinged? It's seems like a logical move to come closer to the middle and high school and now where there are 2 campuses. I understand it would be far from you, but it seems that commuting is the reality for many LAMB families as is.

Not at all representative of most LAMB families. Not even close! Most families understandably want it to consolidate in a location close to them. Who wouldn't. This is the only person threatening action against the school if it moves someplace unfavorable to them.
