Does anyone have a general sense of how often this kind of application is rejected?
More often they are approved with conditions or delayed a year, or the organizers get a sense it may not be approved and withdraw the application. The Charter Board members see and read every comment and take them to heart. It isn't a waste of time to weigh in either way.

I was wondering that too. I'm an MV parent and am happy at the school but this all seems premature. Didn't both Two Rivers and LAMB wait a while longer before expanding. This is only the first year MV has even had a fifth grade.
