Hard to know what it means except that his friend is an asshole. Married men and fathers need to separate themselves from old frat boys who never grow up.

"shady, no good friend". You're having a family, time to get rid of these types and move forward OP.
It's not up to OP who her husband is friends with. Maybe she should ditch the husband if she doesn't like his friends (who are clearly not going anywhere).
