I believe it is actually guaranteed, just not at your school of choice. As long as you can make the commute work, most of the programs will be fine (if you're not afraid of black and brown kids).

And of course we shouldn't vote Republican and cut taxes!

He's in creative arts (regular). I cannot say enough amazing things about Prek3 there (this is our first year in schools so I have not had experience with other grades).

I don't want to say his teachers name for obvious reasons but she is probably the best teacher I have ever seen. (I've been a teacher in Virginia for 10 years). I've heard really great things about the other teacher too. I didn't know anything about Tyler before my son got in and I have gone to the admin and have told them we hit the lottery with their prek3 program.

We listed Garrison after the lottery last year and got in over the summer.


I'm actually pretty excited about it. New building (fingers crossed) AND very walkable from Dupont. (This is the PP who suggested Garrison).

Think about it logically. #69 means that JO Wilson would have to cycle 4 full classes of PK3 through before even getting to your number. Things will go up and down as kids make plans, but I don't thin JO Wilson is one of those schools that will go through that many numbers.

I can respond to this based on our PK3 experience last year. We were WL 42 at JOW and it went down to 20 but we did not get in (there or anywhere for that matter).
