Lol at democrats defending this. Nixon did the same exact thing by wiretapping the DNC headquarters and they went ballistic.

Well, Nixon. And Obama wasn't running for anything, so *he* didn't really have an opposing team.

Regardless, P45 is the only President ever accused of colluding with a foreign government to win an election, so we're in unPresidented territory here.

This.

Obama was meddling in the democratic process. He is a hypocrite accusing Russians of interfering in our election but at the same time doing the exact same thing.

Why did his administration ask for the wiretapping of Trump's communication in the first place?

So many unanswered questions ... Was there an approved warrant to tap Mike Flynn's phone? Who else on the trump team was the government listening to their communications?

If Paul Ryan has any spine, he should call for an investigation into the Obama administration's meddling in our democratic process.

Warrants were given based on evidence, not a political witch hunt. There are a lot of unanswered questions, but don't worry, in America we generally get our answers during a trial.

You sound just like Trmp. Assertions without any evidence,

No one is denying the eavesdropping anymore. The democrats are using the FISA court as their get-out-of-jail-free card. Do you know any other president eavesdropped his opponent? Richard Nixon (Watergate) ...

But the only proof of the "tapp" (!) is a tweetstorm. That is how paranoid people decompensate, not how presidents raise grave concerns re: criminal behavior of prior administration...usually.

NY Times did a story in January about Obama relaxing rules for sharing intel. They classified the wiretapping to be the lowest intelligence level so it can be easily obtained by many sources within IC. The existence of the eavesdropping by the Obama administration has not been challenged by anyone for months.

Lock him up? Lol! Time is running short for the Russipublicans and, it seems, they are getting testy.

No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.

Is this an appropriate use of presidential power?

You know, I wish Obama had given a shit when 20+ million SF-86's were stolen by the Chinese. He only cared when something impacted him and the DNC. Obama was/is such a POS.

What are you talking about?! I was one of the people whose SF-86s was stolen, and OPM has doggedly continued to follow up with privacy protection information and services. They did not ignore this is sweep it under the rug.

I mean, there is certainly a lot of deep cybersecurity weaknesses in the Federal government, but nothing I've seen suggests the current POTUS is doing a better job with it than the last one.

Hey pal, I am one also. What did Obama do about the problem from an international relations standpoint? Nothing.

"They did not ignore this is sweep it under the rug." - they most certainly did.

According to most Republicans here, no body ever calls obama names like POS. Never, they would never do that especially on Dcum. Ha ha.

If there was surveillance, I hope the court order and exactly what spurred it comes out. Otherwise, this sounds like one of those Infowars conspiracies they put out every week.

Absolutely. But I think he should work to have her prosecuted under 18 USC 793 first and make her defense so expensive that it bankrupts her.

If the left wants to wind up the tyrannical state, I think the right should play right along. The WH should probably task the appropriate government entity to tap every means of communication of the top circle of democrats in congress and their outside fund raising organizations for good measure.

I'm a fan of this new game. The less rules (by way of broken rules), the better.

No, tyranny is where Donald and Steve-o are taking us.

Sadly. Bannon wants the destruction of the administrative state, the destruction of protections for the free press, and more.
