Exactly. You sleep with your husband and it is pretty clear OP wants to have sex with this guy. Who organizes trips and boozy dinners while happily married? People who want to cheat. Who calls another man a "conference husband?"

It's not out of the question the OP is my wife but probably not given the timing of the post. If she wants to be flirty and have a fun time and feel some excitement for a week without sleeping around, what's the harm? She'll probably come back home and have some extra sexy time with her husband. Seems like a win for everyone.
You probably think it is ok for you to do the same? But, you are not OP's husband. It is clear she is feeling guilty and is posting here so people can tell her she is wrong and talk her out of it. She wants get drunk dinner with this guy and is calling him a husband. That is even worse than saying, I slept with someone while attending a conference. She is organizing meeting him ahead, she is thinking about him in physical way, even though she claims she isn't she sure is, which is just backtracking baloney.

Live a little. Go for it OP.
And I would be totally fine if my spouse did this. In a strange way, I would be happy for them to get a break from the routine.
