But when a DA lets a person back on the streets after they are arrested for a violent crime and they commit another crime, George has to bare some of the responsibility. He has violated no laws and has a right to spend his money as he sees fit
Why would Soros bear any of the responsibility? The DA let the violent criminal out; s/he is the one responsible (plus the criminal).
Why would the Open Society Foundations bear any responsibility for the DA’s election, when all they did was give a little money to the campaign?

No - it's not that simple, and it doesn't fit his vision for the world.
He's in favor of eliminating borders; in the case of the EU, the internal borders are largely gone. He also seeks greater federalization of the EU, and eventual concentration of governmental power in Brussells under an efficient EU government. To accomish that goal, he sees the eventual elimination of national European governments.
He has similar plans for the North American continent (to include Central America) - eventually eliminating the U.S. Borders with Mexico and Canada, and going far beyond NAFTA as far as an integrated economy and trade.
Eventually, he seeks global income re-distribution to lift the 3rd world from poverty and create parity between every continent. To efficiently effect this vision, he sees an eventual one-world government without national interests to impede his vision of progress.
Main question is who is going to pay for this and who will be "distributing" resources . There is definitely a movement anyone with half a brain can see.. it has to do with reducing QOL of regular people in affluent countries and promoting austerity and reduction of your "life footprint" - carbon footprint, consumption of non essential goods, foods you eat (animal food sources), travel, keeping your homes comfortable, etc. As always we hear how peasants who are better off should share with poor peasants and strive to sacrifice, but we never hear how our "lords" are sharing... Funny to hear this come out from the jet and yacht crowd![]()

Soros has no money. Read the article.
Who do you think runs/controls Open Society?
Anonymous wrote:"An eradication of income inequality."
"No nations and no borders anywhere in the world."
He wants the latter, and pays lip service to the former. Globalism accelerates income inequality. I don't think an intellectually honest person can simultaneously be for both without serious caveats.
He's a guy with an intense fear of nationalism. That's understandable for someone who escaped Nazi Germany. But unrestrained globalism is a major factor in why the US and Europe are suddenly in the throes of a nationalism uprising.

He's just doing what he can to limit his estate tax exposure. The rest if just a jobs program.

I don’t. It’s hard to keep up with all the conspiracy theories these days.
