So, those who may not receive the mail tomorrow may expect rejection? Do they have to choose super bowl weekend to send this out?
No, no, no, no! Every year this happens on this board because of misinformation and people freak out. I guarantee you that when someone on here posts the first acceptance--and who knows, it may be tomorrow, it may be Monday, or even later--everyone who does not receive word on the same day will think they're getting a rejection and it's just not true. The mail is inconsistent.
The mail is inconsistent AND people don't run to DCUM to report rejections, they just don't, it's a biased sample.

I hate it when people make this statement year after year and send others into a panic. I know people who have received acceptances and rejections on the same day, rejections first followed by an acceptance, acceptance first followed by a rejection, and acceptances on different days. Nothing is guaranteed with the mail system - 2 years ago when letters were mailed on a Friday, some people get their notices until the following Wed or Thurs.

I suppose that's possible, but I'm figuring they go out at the end of the day and so processed at post office on Saturday at earliest. I think Monday/Tuesday is a more likely delivery date. But I'm just guessing like everyone else.
