Hate not having a book. We went online and bought a math textbook a couple years ago. They had a couple copies in the class but students did not have their own. We got it for less than $10. Worth every penny. Handouts, student notes, and study guides are not comparable. My child is in middle school. So hard when they don't have a way to look up the material.

Kids get pass codes that don't work for online texts books and CDs that don't work. As if text book companies weren't already the modern equivalent of highway robbery...paying them millions of dollars for access to material the kids do not have access to is inexcusable.

Not getting to see the books at all, class after class, year after year, when they are tested on these exact materials in AP/IB exams is depriving the kids of the learning experience they promise. Beginning to see why IB pass rates are so low. I can buy my kids the text book. Not everyone can. This is stupid and irresponsible at best; possibly corrupt.

The textbooks are terrible. Not enough practice problems and way too abstract for the students. I get it, we want them to be able to think and work in a group but without the basics, what's the point?
