I think it's totally insane that so many PPs think it's OK for their kids to take pills. Coffee is fine, and if you drink too much, you'll be jittery and need to pee a lot. But, if you take too many caffeine pills, you could give yourself a heart attack.
Then again, it seems that many DCUMers need pills to regulate their lives--sleeping pills, anti-anxiety pills, hormone pills, etc. I should not be surprised that they are projecting the normalcy of pill popping onto their children.
Maybe you missed the part where she's not a kid? She's a grown adult.

It warrants a talk with her. When the caffeine doesn't cut it anymore, she may try the next step which is Adderrall (and illegal if not prescribed), then cocaine.

You can die from taking more ham the prescribed dose of many, many things. That's why only adults should be in charge of pills. She's an adult.

My motto is my house MY rules! i would reseal, then ask her about it because you saw the return address. Maybe ask for a professional opinion (doctor or pharmacist) about caffiene pills. Keep in mind that your child choose to mail these to her own home and not her dorm or a PO Box so I wouldn't freak out.
