Oh, and my dog loves the beard. My DD thinks it is awesome.
After about 2 weeks, my beard is also soft/not scratchy.
It is never smelly -- I shower every day and wash my beard like I wash my hair/face.
I know this is not the explicit forum so I'll try to be vague, but when my husband has a beard it is not comfortable for me when he goes south. That's one of the main reasons I do not like him to wear a beard. When he has a beard, my drive diminishes and we have less sex.

OP here. I don't get laid when clean shaven.

Anonymous wrote:OP here. I wrote this mostly as a spin off of the other hair thread, where the guy was not happy with the hair color. The answer was, suck it up (for him). For me, it is shave it off (mostly).
1) I will shave it off when it gets warm again.
2) I will not shave it off until it starts warming up.
But, it is temporary. It is clean. And it is soft. And it is warm.
I figured this would be a good example of the anti-male sexism....
DCUM did not disappoint.

He still grows it each winter. There is no kissing or other shenanigans when it exists. I don't want a chapped face.

It's not a great example of anything and it's not comparable to the hair color issue. But if you want to think you were somehow clever, have at it.
