But my understanding was after they heard Let It Go by Idina, they couldn't let such a performance belong to a Vilain and the whole plot was rejiggered.
Though I guess if their was such a rave over a bad guy, it would have foreshadowed the Malificent and Disney Descendants popularity.

My child has a physical difference from other kids, and I cried every time I heard Let It Go for months, seeing it as the anthem of a girl recognizing her difference and wanting to be free and accepted for who she was.
