VS was originally very feminine selling lines of Victorian nightgowns, lots of lace, potpourri and rose scented perfume. The store smelled like Flowers and was like the Laura Ashley of under garments.

I agree with posters who associate the brand image of VS and Pink with sex. That's how they market themselves.

Re: the bolded, I completely agree. I hate walking past the VS store with my 12 yr. old daughter. The enormous images on display aren't what I want my child to be seeing and possibly aspiring to.
