Ah, actually not the equation I wanted to illustrate.

While those are essential factors, choosing a woman who will tolerate degradation and betrayal is the crucial step. No amount of advice can help him if he marries a woman who has - and keeps - her self-esteem. Plenty of women with self-esteem stay at home with children but would not tolerate betrayal.
