I'm curious when kids begin playing lacrosse, i.e. how old are they usually when introduced to the sport? When do talented kids begin to show talent?
Lacrosse for boys seems like a pretty heavy contact sport. What's the rate of concussions?

Can someone translate what this means?
My interpretation is that someone was on their phone, and wanted to ask what are the top 2022 boys' club teams in the area as their family is moving to the DMV.

The number of showcases continues to grow at an amazing pace. As a general rule, don't go to a prospect/camp unless the coach/staff of a school you're targeting is in attendance AND you've already emailed the coach to let them know you'll be playing.
Some of the top showcase events, in no particular order:
- Maverick Showtime
- Adrenaline Black Card
- Philly Showcase
- Under Armour AA Games
All of these are invite only, save for UA (which anyone can sign up)

what is wrong with you? do you really go around and call kids garbage? If they aren't great players say that but at least these kids aren't sitting around doing nothing.
In truth, the horse trading from the cheap seats over which middle school teams are best or best for recruiting is silly. My son is now a HS senior and his brother is in 8th grade. I've been very disappointed to see kids drop this and other sports all over the weaning process that people get wound up about to position to be recruited by colleges. It takes too much of the enjoyment out of sports for the kids, and that is a shame.
