But the best part is the end when De Niro grabs him and says that sometimes life throws you an opportunity and it would be a sin to not take it , a sin!!!
And the dylon cash song in the studio is a high light
I strongly encourage anyone that is looking for a feel good, pick me up, hopeful movie to watch silver linings playbook
This is the only movie I have ever walked out of..... Glad you enjoyed it!!!

I love movies and can't pick out a favorite, but I can describe my favorite type:
1. Must have a happy ending
2. Probably (but not necessarily) an older movie. (Could include musicals or black-and-white movies.)
3. Plot or character based, not action movies
4. I generally prefer movies that have humor
5. Bonus points for movies that have one of the following traits (intricate and well-executed plots, witty dialogue, heartwarming stories that make me feel better about the world, or truly outstanding musical numbers)

Have only read the first page, so I don't know if someone has already corrected you, PP...but it was Audrey Hepburn in the movie version, not Julie Andrews. Julie Andrews starred in My Fair Lady on Broadway and REALLLLY wanted to role in the movie but they didn't give it to her.

I watched it with my wife tonight and we really enjoyed it. I've suffered from anxiety issues myself, so the movie was relatable in a lot of ways.
