It's not just the millenials. I'm a gen x and it's true for us as well.


I may not have been aware of what was going on but I always saw this as more of a newer generation kind of mentality. Maybe around when Bethesda magazine or Washingtonian magazine posted that article a while back about how private school kids would play games like that. Can't remember the details.

But the mentality about American Women has been around for a while. In Asia too, which a later poster touched upon as well. I think there blurbs about it in travel guides mentioning it.

It's very country dependent. Germanic countries tend to have sex MUCH earlier than people here - most of my German and Austrian friends lost their virginity from age 13 to 15. I'd dated two German women and both lost their v-card at 14. That said, they were sleeping with their boyfriends, both of whom were 3 to 5 years older.

I agree. Stereotypes abound in Europe in regards to this issue as well. Yes, people think Scandinavians and Germans are more promiscuous, but also Russians and Czechs and Poles. If you want a stereotype, Europe has so many of them. I thought it was the best interview ever by some show host of Christoph Waltz, and he is asked about the stereotype that Germans have no sense of humor. He deadpans,"That is not a stereotype." He is Austrian.

You guys really think rich Euro trash kids aren't just as slutty as American kids? The American kids oversees are generally UMC or rich, I see very little difference between how they behave and EU kids behave at bars and clubs.
