We are at Holton and I LOVE LOVE LOVE not having homecoming. One less ridiculous thing to worry about. We keep a far distance from Landon these days too so there isn't much to worry about. I love single-sex schools.

Ya think?
I overheard a few moms gossiping how cute (or not) their DD's dates were, how creative (or not) the ask was, which pre-dance dinner was the best.
Yuck.

You really think this is the fix for those fractured egos? It will just reinforce their feeling of inadequacy. Stop meddling moms. You are just making it worse for everybody.

No, STA, NCS, and Beauvoir are all part of the Cathedral family and have a strong relationship that is getting even stronger. NCS and STA will always have a special connection.
So they can only date people from the Cathedral schools? Date a STA boy or go stag?
If the dance is hosted by STA, then STA boys can bring a date from any school in my opinion. Girls from NCS could attend stag because it is the sister school, but they can't bring a date (unless, of course it is someone from STA). I think that makes sense. If NCS hosted a dance, then the opposite would be true...girls could bring boy from any school, but STA boys can only attend stag or go with NCS girl.

Anonymous wrote:The schools announced this year that NCS girls now have reciprocal priveldges - STA boys have long been able to attend the NCS homecoming dance without a date. I think this is long past due and fantastic news!

Anonymous wrote:I actually wish our single sex boys high school would do something like this. You cannot attend homecoming without a date. Now a lot of these boys don't have anyone to take to the dance but would like to go (perhaps to meet girls??? What a novel thought!). Allow the sister school students to attend without a date and then the boys who go alone can meet new friends.
