Good Lord. If you pee and poo every day you need to bathe every day. Hair gets washed also. Teeth brushed twice a day.

I'm shocked at the responses. I also change sheets twice a week, pillowcases daily.

You wash pillowcases daily? Do you hate the earth?

Poster said she CHANGED pillow cases daily - not washed them. You can have a dozen pillow cases and put them in one wash cycle.

Anonymous wrote:Wow--I'm a total slacker compared to most of you. I aim to get my kids (3 and 6) to bathe every other day but sometimes it just doesn't happen. My 6 year old has taken to showering by herself almost every day, which is fine, but the 3 year old resists. They're not smelly and their hair doesn't look dirty even after a few days, so I just let it slide.

Da fug?! Really? Dayum! Get it together. That's nasty.

Yes, every day. He enjoys baths, and he's often dirty from soccer or kickball at aftercare.

My 4th grader showers every day. I generally urge every other day in the winter because it is just so drying. But ultimately it is DC's body, I feel there are probably better battles.

Too much bathing strips the natural oils off the skin and contributes to immune system malfunction.

6 year old
No bath every day
Usually every three
That's about how often I bathe too. More in the summer.

They have great meds these days for OCD.

No kidding. Not to mention too much time on her hands.

PP, I'm lucky if I get a bath/ shower every day. If my 9 YO and 12 YO get three - four a week we're doing well.

4 yr old and 1.5 yr old bathe daily. It's part of the routine and they insist on it too.

Same. My girls take baths/showers 2x a week. I take a quick daily shows but only wash my (very dry) hair every 3rd day.

Daily for preschool and elementary aged boys. School is so germy and the preschooler has also often played in dirt or mulch. I bathed them once to twice a week as babies.

Every other day unless there is visible dirt and grime.
