Kids are thankless. Don't expect her to turn around and appreciate your work you've done for her for a while. It sucks but feeling badly for yourself because you're the martyr single parent won't change her views. I'm currently a single parent so I sympathize but I know teens/tweens and how into their friends they can be. Could you and your ex do a 50/50 thing?

I hope you're right.
